The mission of the Barry Kirshner Wildlife Foundation is to provide rehabilitation and long-term care for exotic and native species, as well as to provide educational programs on all levels emphasizing wildlife and habitat conservation.

Uses long term conservation measures to protect and preserve the habitat of the jaguar and the five other felid species that are native to Central America. Our primary focus is on strengthening the weakest link in the Central American Jaguar Corridor in order to maintain connectivity between two key jaguar populations.

Is committed to species conservation efforts globally with over 15 key species conservation efforts and campaigns successfully making an impact on the natural world that stretches far beyond the local zoo and community.

Our animal caregivers provide a rich, complex, and changing environment. We also have a formal Animal Welfare Program in place to ensure that we meet the highest standards for animal habitats, nutrition, health and social behaviors.

Project Survival’s Cat Haven is an innovative park dedicated to the preservation of wild cats. It specializes in education and is engaged in both captive and range country conservation. It is this link to the conservation of cats in their native habitat that makes the work of the Cat Haven especially meaningful.

Located just south of Drake Bay; only one and half hours by plane from San Jose, bordering the north side of Corcovado National Park, on the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica. It is known as one of the most biodiverse areas in the world, you can't safely get any closer to a wild jaguar habitat than staying here.

Founded in 2006, Panthera is devoted exclusively to the conservation of the world’s 40 species of wild cats and the vast ecosystems they inhabit.
